Edward (Ed-The-Vet) Growing up on a dairy farm and having pets all my life I always knew that I wanted to work with animals. I qualified from Cambridge University and initially lived and worked the 'James Herriot' life in the Yorkshire Dales treating farm animals, horses and family pets. I then moved back down south and have been working with family pets in the Cotswolds before moving to Peterborough in 2014 and working as a small animal vet. My spare time is spent with my wife Emma (who is our practice manager) and our two young daughters, as well as with our cats, dog and chickens. I enjoy photography and gardening. Homebrew keeps me in beer and wine and when I can, cycling to keep fit.
Sarah and Michelle are both highly experienced registered veterinary nurses (RVN). Sarah qualified as an RVN in August 2015 after training at a practice in Stamford and has worked at other practices in and around Peterborough before joining us in 2016. Sarah has a particular interest in anaesthesia, canine and feline lifestages and behaviour. At home Sarah lives with her wife Stacy and their two young children as well as their two dogs; Arya, a rescue Westie and Dyke, a retired Army explosive detection Belgium Shepherd. In her spare time Sarah enjoys dog walking, home improvements and eating pizza. Since 1989 Michelle has followed her heart with a varied career. Her love of Veterinary Nursing has allowed her to gain qualifications in behaviour, nutrition and dentistry as well as a Diploma in Leadership and Management and also being a Clinical Coach and trainer. In January 2019 Michelle joined Station Bridge Vets. Since that time you will have seen her on reception, in the consult rooms and assisting in theatre! Michelle enjoys conducting her own consultations, supporting owners in many different areas of caring for their pet including helping them to look after their new family member, weight management and caring for their elderly pet. Out of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her Leonbergers, walking, camping, skiing and gardening. Michelle’s quote ‘My biggest downfall is cake!!! Oh and I’m a very unusual Veterinary Nurse that doesn’t eat chocolate.’
Amanda - qualified from Cambridge Vet School in 2005 and has worked locally ever since, first in a big hospital practice and then as a locum for a few years before joining Station Bridge. Amanda enjoys internal medicine, especially blood analysis work, x-rays and ultrasound exams and she finds dentistry to be very rewarding. Amanda and her husband have three children, 'Mr Gordon McQuaver the golden retriever, Slinky Malinki, Elvis and Neville (the cats), 5 hens and Tiddles the tortoise. When she has a spare moment, Amanda enjoys readng and walks in the woods.
